The splash of Niagara

Wednesday, May 23, 2012, about 2:20 p.m., approaching the river to cross into Canada
Crossing the river into Canada
After our dinner at TGIF, we walked to the falls.  My first view of the "smaller falls".
Both of the falls from the Canadian side.  Everyone told us it was more awesome there.  They were right.
Notice the blue of the early evening and it is just starting to get cool.  I made Steve carry a jacket.  He didn't need it.
Near the "Horseshoe Fall" with all the mist and dampness.  Too bad Steve's hair didn't curl!
We bought a post card in the shop near Horseshoe Falls.  The view is magnificent!
Crossing the river.  It is WIDE!
Frizzy wet hair.  My curl came back.
We had a wonderful time in Niagara Falls, Canada.  The only negative was the woman three doors down the hall in our motel kept screaming obscenities, slamming doors, throwing things at the walls for three hours, keeping me awake.  Hotel security knocked on their door several times and it was quiet for a few minutes until she began again.  I didn't sleep much that night.  I complained the next morning, saying how hard it was to get a nights sleep when there were inconsiderate guests.  The clerk took 25% off the bill and gave us free overnight parking.  We drove across western New York and all of Massachusetts to Framingham on Thursday, ready for our next adventure.

Counsel for this post:  when checking into a motel for the night, would it be okay to ask if they were putting you in the same hallway with a foul-mouthed psychotic woman?
