Graduation grandeur for Guinevere

Friday, May 25, 2012, in front of the theater for the graduation of Guinevere from the New England School of Law.

Studying the program and this is what we saw:

Guinevere listed as the valedictorian of the evening session.  And she gave a 3 minute address which was awesome and to the point.

After eating lunch at Panera's just down the street from the ceremony, we went to the park to relax and let the boys play.

Clark, Ben, Cassius and I went for a ride on the swan boat.  The rest of the family are in the shade tree, if you look between Ben and Clark's heads.

Saturday night we went to Claire and Dan's house for BBQ supper and playing.  Ben has a large robot arm.

Evan, Guinevere's brother with the mic, is singing to their "music program" on their TV set.  Dan, with his back to us, is playing the drums.  Toni and Norm are on the right.  Norm is singing also!  It was fun stuff.

While Guinevere wrestles Cassius, Clark is playing the keyboard.  Notice the tracks on the screen.  His is the far right track.  

A "small world" story:  On Friday morning Steve and I got out of the van to go wait in line to get into the theater while Clark dropped Toni off near the door and parked the car.  Steve and I didn't know exactly where we were to go since we had seen all the graduates lined up two blocks away.  So I tapped a woman standing near me on the arm and asked:  "What graduation ceremony is this?"  "The New England School of Law", she replied.  "Oh, good. We weren't sure since we got dropped off."  She assured me by saying: "I know it is.  My son-in-law is the valedictorian of his class."  "Really." I quickly replied. "Our daughter-in-law is valedictorian of her class."  What are the chances of meeting the only other mother-in-law of the valedictorian in a crowd of people numbering over 500!

My counsel:  when you buy a pant suit from Saver's to wear to a special occasion and everyone compliments you on how great it looks on you, be sure to take a picture wearing it!  Do you see a picture of me?
