The Plano house is sold

We sold the Plano house on April 16th to a young couple named Mark and Jennifer. They have a two year old and a seven month old son, and Mark works for Raytheon. They loved the house the instant they walked in it. It was their first home and they love it. They asked for a fence allowance instead of flooring. This is the view from the street and alley.

This view is of the Mathis' fence and side yard.

The back gate crosses the driveway and the inside of the yard is very open and large, including all the drive way and extra parking space. I was surpized how open feeling it was.

Jennifer was kind enough to let me in, and even invited me to see all their cute furniture in the rooms. The game room is now their guest bedroom suite. The queen sized bed, two night stands and a small rocker look dwarfed in the large room, but they have parents come to stay often. It is in good hands, though she apologized for the yard not being trimmed and looking it's best. Too much to do and still unpacking boxes.

They removed the very large bush that was growing in the corner by the alley. The one small bush that Bill Young gave to us almost twenty years ago. I can imagine how tough that was to cut down and haul away. The gate runs on a track imbeded in the concrete.

Sure does change the look of the back alley, doesn't it?
