The rock wall installed.  Some of the stones came from Eric's yard, some from mine.  I had a finished photo with the grout, but the computer lost it when I saved it from my camera.  Always a learning curve with a new program.

Eric is mudding the cider block for the new extension of the wall - we added about 14 feet.

Eric dug the foundation for the new wall.  There were steel rods cemented in for sturdy construction.

There used to be a wall here.  Now it is just decorative rocks.  We can drive fully into the back yard now.

This is where the wall used to be.  Eric is working at covering it.  I took photos of the wall being taken down but lost them in the process of taking them off the computer.

Eric is figuring things out.  This change in the fence was on the south side of the house.  Now we await the gate guy to weld two six foot gates to fill the space.  When we are finished, we could drive in a very large motor home to park and store.  If we had one!

The lesson in this post:  Now that I have more yard to care for, I wonder what was I thinking?  But really, we did all this so we could put a small cooling/heating unit into the room where Steve has his office.  The HOA rules state the units have to be behind a fence/gate.  But we are code!
